THE CLIENT
DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) is a private non-profit organization that provides capital improvements, resources, and research to enhance the downtown experience of the District for all.
THE PROJECT
One of the BID’s goals is creating a parks masterplan that will meet the needs of the DowntownDC community, now and for generations to come. FORMA by MOYA worked alongside the MOYA architecture team, architecture firm LandDesign, and the BID on an extensive report that outlined the community-led vision for parks and open spaces in downtown DC.
THE CHALLENGE
FORMA led the editorial design of the report, inclusive of preparing the layout and visual cadence, designing custom illustrations and infographics, and creating clean and simple data visualizations.
DESIGNER INSIGHTS
The colors injected into the report and the various design elements are hues of green and blue, serving as a reminder of the focus of the project: creating green spaces for the community.
